Today's POTD looks back at the final home game of 2011 for the Toronto Blue Jays against the Los Angeles Angels September 22.

Angels catcher Bobby Wilson gets ready to go to work in the bullpen.

Angels starter Ervin Santana was looking to improve on his 6-4 lifetime record against the Blue Jays that included three complete game efforts.

Santana allowed five hits and five walks over six innings but gave up just two runs.

Angels center fielder Peter Bourjos, whose dad once worked as a scout for the Jays, chats with first baseman Mark Trumbo with second baseman Howie Kendrick nearby.  Shortstop Erick Aybar is in the background with third baseman Alberto Callaspo.

Mike McCoy leads off from third base in the first inning.  He singled to lead off the game but was stranded after Kelly Johnson went down swinging with the bases loaded.  It was McCoy's only hit in six at-bats.

Alberto Callaspo steps on home plate after homering off Jays starter Henderson Alvarez in the second inning to give the Halos a 1-0 lead.

Eric Thames is about to complete his home run sprint as his leadoff homer in the seventh inning off Santana tied the game at 2-2.  That chased the Angels starter from the ball game.

Thames gets set to high-five Adam Lind after his 12th and final home run of the 2011 campaign as part of a 2-for-6 night.  José Bautista looks on.

Former Jays reliever Scott Downs and his 2011 statistics to date on JaysVision.  The veteran lefty pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief despite a hit and a walk.

Edwin Encarnacion is about to get a pounding at home plate after hitting his 17th and final home run of 2011 to complete a 2-for-5 performance that included a walk.  The walk-off job against Angels reliever Garrett Richards gave the Jays a 4-3 win in 12 innings.  Shawn Camp, who worked a one-walk inning, was the winning pitcher.  The home finale marked the final time the Jays will wear the J-bird uniforms as they will have brand new duds for 2012. They are to be revealed November 18.

Next up on POTD, some extra photos of the Jays and Angels.
