Today's POTD looks at the team that handed the Blue Jays their first loss of the spring and killing any hopes of a perfect season.  I haven't been this upset with the Tigers since Bill Gullickson plunked Joe Carter in the head. ;D

Rick Porcello has won 38 games over three major league seasons, matching his career high for wins in 2011 with 14.

Brandon Inge rounds third for one of his 13 round trippers in 2010 but only went deep three times last season while hitting just .197.

Inge will give way to Miguel Cabrera, on the right, at the hot corner in 2011.

Ryan Raburn celebrates one of his two home runs this day while Cabrera gets ready for an at-bat.

Cabrera tries his luck on the basepaths as he looks to steal second.  Jays second baseman Aaron Hill awaits the throw.

Hill gets the tag down on Cabrera...

...but Cabrera manages to steal his third and final base of 2010.

Lefty Phil Coke besmirches the good name of Dave Stieb by stepping on his #37.  The baseball gods made him pay for this trangression last season as he lost nine of 12 decisions as a starter and reliever. ;D

Jose Valverde set the Tigers single season saves record with 49 (previously held by Todd Jones) and did not blow a save in 2011.  He earned three more saves in the post-season.

Octavio Dotel, with the Jays last season before winning a World Series ring with the Cardinals, is set to wear his 13th different major league uniform with the Tigers next month.
