In tha AL Wild Card, it was Jason Frasor, Winning Pitcher. Tonight, Travis Snider gets his moment on a Big Stage,

Travis, at age 26, put together a very strong second half and has finally seized hold of the Pirates RF job. Just in time, as Gregory Polanco is breathing down his neck. Snider's pitching debut earlier this season didn't go all that well, though he was better than Brad Mills.

Old chum Marco Scutaro has spent almost the entire season on the DL with back miseries (he played briefly back in July), but he's still on the Giants roster. That's about it for former Jays on these teams.

Meanwhile, the Giants starting pitcher hit .258/.286/.470 this season, with 4 HRs in 66 ABs - I may have to reassess my statement that he's not as good a hitter as any Toronto second baseman. Granted, Bumgarner's never hit this well before. But still, he now sports a career line of .166/.208/.255 - if I asked which was Goins and which was Bumgarner, you wouldn't know.

Would you.
