We have no more prospects, but the farm won three games.

Buffalo 4 SYRACUSE 5 10 Innings

With Matt Boyd jettisoned, Todd Redmond started and pitched four shutout innings. The bullpen filled in adequately from there until Joba Chamberlain imploded in the ninth, allowing Syracuse to score four and tie the game. Syracuse would go on to score the winning run in the following inning. Matt Hague (shout-out to cybercavalier) had two hits and two RBIs. Show him the money already. Hague was one of four Bisons to have multi-hit games. Dalton Pompey had a hit and a walk.

Reading 0 NEW HAMPSHIRE 4

Austin Bibens-Dirkx pitched six shutout innings, striking out eight and walking two. Shane Opitz had three hits and was a homer away from the cycle. I don’t quite get how the organization has handled Emilio Guerrero. Has he ever deserved any of his promotions? They’ve always seemed quite aggressive with him.

Palm Beach v. Dunedin RAIN

Lansing 4 LAKE COUNTY 5

D.J. Davis has ten outfield errors, including a dropped ball in the ninth leading to the winning run. Davis had one hit in last night’s game. Dawel Lugo though homered and collected two hits. David Harris and Boomer Collins also homered. On the mound Shane Dawson turned in six innings of four run baseball. Dawson struck out five and walked one. He allowed nine hits.

VANCOUVER 6 Boise 4

If he wasn’t already one of the better pitching prospects in the organization, with the trades this past week, Clinton Hollon is now arguably one of our top prospects. Hollon pitched six and two-thirds of one run baseball yesterday. He struck out five, walked one, and allowed four hits. Sean Hurley homered and had four RBIs. Justin Atkinson had two hits and Ryan Hissey had a double and two walks.

Bluefield 7 PRINCETON 10

Rodrigo Orozco, Gabriel Clark, Christian Williams, and Aaron Attaway all had two hits. Yeltsin Gudino, Juan Tejada, DJ McKnight, and Matt Morgan all had one hit. And blast from the past, Jacob Anderson was hitless.

GCL Blue Jays 2 GCL BRAVES 10

Reggie Pruitt doubled, walked, and stole a base. Battersbox.ca fav Jose Espada got hit around in three innings of work. He allowed four earned on two homers.
