Drew Hutchison is used to lots of runs support but the Bisons could only register two hits over their nine innings. Taylor Cole pitched well for New Hampshire in their win. Jason Leblebijian had four RBI's for Dunedin in their win, Connor Panas had three for Vancouver, also in a winning cause. The entire Bluefield line-up had three hits but it was good for a win. Matt Smoral was hit in the head by a batted ball. Lansing's game was called due to rain.

Syracuse 3 Buffalo 0

Drew Hutchison gave up a home run to the second hitter of the game and that was the game winning hit. The lead off hitter in the second tripled and scored and Drew was down 2-0 with no outs in the second. Hutchison went four, he allowed one other hit to add to the two that scored runs. Of more concern Hutchison walked three in his four innings and used 71 pitches to get through four. Four relievers back him up, Bobby Korecky conceded the third run while Ryan Tepera was the only pitcher who was perfect.

The Bisons only had two hits, and two walks, so they were never really in this game.

Binghamton 3 New Hampshire 4

New Hampshire built a 4-0 lead that stood until the ninth. Taylor Cole had one of his best starts of the season, he pitched into the ninth before being touched for a two run home run. In total Cole gave up seven hits and two walks while striking out six. Following the two run home run Danny Barnes came on and made it a nervy ninth letting the third run score and ending the game with the tying run on third.

The Fisher Cats took the lead in the third when Dwight Smith doubled in Jorge Flores. In the fifth Shane Opitz singled, moved up an a Flores single and scored on a ground out by Roemen Fields. Opitz was in the mix again in the sixth, Derrick Chung singled, Emilio Guerreo added an RBI double and then Opitz tripled. Smith, Chung, Opitz and Flores each had two hits.

Dunedin 8 Tampa 5

This game had another nervy ninth. In this case Brady Dragmire conceded three hits and Wil Browning had to come on and finish the game for his twentieth save. Alonzo Gonzalez started and didn't concede a run but he was pulled after four innings because he had eight base runners and no strikeouts.

The Jays scored three in the fourth, Matt Dean singled in the first run then Derrick Loveless cracked a two run home run. LB Dantzler doubled in Boomer Collins in the fifth. Leading 4-2 in the eighth Jason Leblebijian came to the plate with the bases loaded. Jason doubled and cleared the bases to make it 7-2. Leblebijian came to the plate with the bases loaded again in the ninth and drove in a fourth run with an infield single. Leblebijian was 3-4, Dantzler, Dean and Loveless each had two hits.

Bowling Green at Lansing - Rained out

The heavens opened with Bowling Green leading 3-1 in the top of the fifth and the game had to be called. Ryan McBroom homered for the Lugnuts only run. Jon Wandling was the starting pitcher for Lansing.

Boise 2 Vancouver 7

Canadian Connor Panas has the biggest power on the C's roster but it has been missing in games until Panas went deep twice on Saturday. Panas went deep again on Sunday and had his second straight three hit game with 3 RBI. The C's piled on 12 hits with Ryan Metzler, Justin Atkinson, Ryan Hissey and Sean Hurley notching a couple of hits each.

Francisco Rios and Brandon Hinkle each pitched four innings and conceded one of the runs. Rios had 8 base runners in his four innings, Hinkle just three.

Bluefield 1 Pulaski 0

The Jays didn't have a hit until the sixth inning but when it came it generated the first run. Two errors put runners at first and third with Rodrigo Orozco coming to the plate. Orozco delivered a line drive to break up the no hitter and make it 1-0. The Jays picked up a couple of other hits but finished the game with just three hits.

Geno Encina, 18th round pick this year, went five shutout innings. Matt Smoral pitched the sixth but left after getting hit in the head by a line drive in the seventh. There is no updated reports on his condition but it seems as though he took a pretty hard shot, the ball rebounded to third base and the Jays got the out at first. Zach Rodgers and Tyler Burden finished up. The Yankees twice loaded the bases but couldn't get a run across.
