Two wins, two losses. The Bisons mashed, but the Fisher Cats struggled. The Baby Jays won handily, but the Lugnuts were bested.

BUFFALO 13 Columbus 10

The Bisons produced seventeen hits on the evening, with Casey Kotchman going three-for-three, Jesus Montero and Junior Lake homering, and Dalton Pompey collecting two hits. On the mound Drew Hutchison got the win despite yielding four earned on five walks in five and two-thirds.

New Hampshire 1 TRENTON 2

New Hampshire got a solid start out of Luis Santos. He pitched six shutout innings and struck out eight. He did not walk a batter. The Fisher Cats were one out away from a win before Wil Browning exploded in the ninth. Dwight Smith Jr. and Matt Dean had two hits apiece.

Lakeland 3 DUNEDIN 8

Derrick Loveless had three hits, Richard Urena had two, and Anthony Alford had just the one. Chris Rowley pitched seven and a third of two run baseball. The Baby Jays blew by the Tiger affiliate.

FORT WAYNE 5 Lansing 3

Max Pentecost had two more hits, but the star was Sean Reid-Foley who pitched seven innings of one-run baseball. He walked just the one and struck out seven.
