The only teams in action Tuesday were the Gulf Coast and Dominican teams and they continued their winning seasons by improving to 10 and seven games above .500 respectively.

GCL Blue Jays 15 GCL Tigers West 2

Dunedin, FL
- This was only a 2-1 game for the Jays before they scored a converted touchdown in the sixth, one in the seventh and five more in the eighth to run away with this one. Francisco Rodriguez had a two-run single in the first before Norberto Obeso brought in the first run of the sixth with a bases-loaded walk. Bo Bichette then serviced notice the rout was on with a grand slam home run. Rodriguez doubled home the sixth run before the extra point scored on an error. A wild pitch in the eighth produced the 10th run before RBI singles by Obeso, Alfredo Bohorquez and David Jacob and a two-run double by Rodriguez in the ninth gave the Jays five more runs in the ninth.

Rodriguez and Jacobs contributed three hits apiece in the 15-hit attack with Jacobs drawing three walks to get on base in all six of his plate appearances. Rodriguez drew a walk to supplement his five-RBI performance. Obeso was on base five times with two hits, two walks and a hit by pitch and recorded an outfield assist in left. Javier Monzon had two hits and a walk while Bichette added a single for a two-hit game. It was a painful day for the leadoff men as Kevin Vicuna was hit by a pitch as was Sterling Guzman, his replacement. Guzman scored twice without an official at-bat as he also worked the count to ball four. Ryan Gold singled and walked and Miguel Almonte had a base hit. D.J. Daniels was 0-for-5.

Travis Hosterman allowed a run on two hits and two walks but did strike out four in his two-inning start. Jairo Rosario gave up a hit and a walk and plunked a batter but struck out two over two frames. Travis Bergen struck out one in a perfect fifth and got a hold for his efforts. Orlando Pascual (3-0) hit a batter for his only blemish over two scoreless frames that included two punchouts. Mitch McKown walked four batters and gave up a hit that resulted in one run in two-thirds of an inning. William Ouelette rescued McKown's line from even more damage by stranding the bases loaded with a strikeout to end the eighth before retiring the side in order in the ninth.

DSL Blue Jays 8 DSL Padres 6

Boca Chica, DR - The Jays overcame 3-0 and 4-2 deficits by scoring in the last four innings to beat the Friars. Yhordegny Kelly got the birds on the board with a solo home run in the fourth and drove in another in the sixth with a sacrifice fly. An Anderson Green RBI fielder's choice and run-scoring singles by Jesus Navarro and Yorman Rodriguez put the Jays ahead for the first time in the seventh. Jonelvy Molina had a swinging bunt RBI to bring in another run as part of a two-run eighth. Rodriguez singled home another run in the ninth. Navarro and Rodriguez recorded the two-hit games in this one with Rodriguez swiping a base. McGregory Contreras singled and walked twice. Molina, Jose Briceno and Aldo Ovando all had a knock and a walk apiece. Jose Theran also had a base hit.

Meliton Reyes gave up four runs (three earned) over 5-1/3 innings on six hits and a walk but he struck out seven. Luis Mendoza (1-4) stranded a runner for Reyes but was lit up for a two-run homer and three more hits over 3-1/3 innings. Jesus Colman plunked the first hitter he faced to load the bases before ending the game on a strikeout for save number three.
