It was a perfect day on the farm. There were only two games played but you take them where you can get them.

GCL Blue Jays

The Jays walked this one off in the 11th inning with the new overtime rules in place. Davis Schneider started the inning at second base and moved to third on an infield hit by Aldo Ovando. An error at third on a ground ball by Jonelvy Molina brought Schneider home with the winning run. Molina homered in the seventh to send the game to extras. Yhordegny Kelly singled in the first run. Dominic Abbadessa and Logan Warmoth had a hit and a walk apiece.

Roither Hernandez (1.1IP) and Emmanuel Reyes (2.2IP) covered off the first four innings between them without a run scored with Reyes stranding an inherited runner. Gaudy Ramirez was victimized by a pair of unearned runs in the fifth. Connor Laws laid down 1-2/3 innings of scoreless ball on one hit with two strikeouts while Justin Watts upped the ante with two shutout frames and two K's. Jonathan Cheshire also had two perfect frames of his own with a couple of whiffs to get the win.

DSL Blue Jays

Yhon Perez and Steward Berroa were the on-base leaders by getting aboard thrice. Perez had two hits and a walk while Berroa tripled, walked twice and drove in two runs.

Nathaniel Perez faced the minimum over six shutout innings with just one hit allowed while striking out four to get the win. He had eight groundouts to contribute to a Game Score of 78. Juan Diaz got the hold with 1-2/3 scoreless frames and three strikeouts. Elixon Caballero struck out three in getting the final four outs for the save. He also stranded a runner.
