Vancouver is lovely at this time of year

This is your ultra abbreviated weekend recap. Only two completed games to speak of as weather played a part in postponing or suspending games across all levels of the organization. Nonetheless, some encouraging stuff from the ol’ prospects.

Buffalo Bisons

Buffalo did not play this weekend. The weather that got the Jays is clearly spreading.

New Hampshire Fisher Cats

New Hampshire got one in on Saturday. Sean Reid-Foley pitched six and a third and picked up his second win of the campaign. Glad Reid-Foley was not dealt this offseason. I’ve always liked his profile and wouldn’t rule out a few starts in Toronto come blister season. Two hits and a walk, of course, for Vladimir Guerrero Jr., and a hit and two walks from Bo Bichette. Our future left side has picked up right where they left off.

Dunedin Blue Jays

Even Dunedin got hit by weather this weekend. Dunedin played Saturday, but had play suspended in the fourth today just as they put up a five-spot. Dalton Pompey was probably most frustrated. He was looking to have a day. By the fourth Pompey had homered and singled, stole a bag, and scored twice. Saturday’s game resulted in a loss. Logan Warmoth had three hits and Riley Adams doubled twice.

Lansing Lugnuts

Lansing too was tied up with weather issues all weekend.
