The #BlueJays affiliates won three out of five Tuesday night.

Toledo 8 Buffalo 7 (10 Innings)

The Bisons held early leads of 6-2 and 7-6 before flushing this one down the toilet. Dwight Smith Jr. had two hits and three RBI and Jason Leblebijian also had a two-hit effort. Rowdy Tellez doubled, walked and was plunked twice. Danny Jansen doubled and Roemon Fields singled, driving in a run apiece.

Taylor Guerreri was torched for six runs (four earned) over 3-2/3 innings on seven hits (including a homer) and a walk and only struck out one. Luis Santos stranded a runner for Guerreri but gave up a run over 2-1/3 innings. Conor Fisk gave up a hit but faced the minimum over three frames as he struck out four. Al Alburquerque allowed the losing unearned run over two-thirds of an inning.


Akron 13 New Hampshire 3

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. knocked home the first run of the game but went 0-for-4. Harold Ramirez had a three-hit game while Jonathan Davis and Bo Bichette had two with Bichette earning a free pass. Cavan Biggio was 1-for-4 with a run batted in.

Justin Dillon was jolted for seven runs (six earned) over four innings after six hits and three walks while striking out three. Kirby Snead gave up another run over 2-1/3 innings but Nick Hartman was hammered for five runs over 1-1/3 innings. Only Jose Fernandez escaped with no runs allowed over 1-1/3 innings.


Dunedin 9 Charlotte 5

A grand slam by Riley Adams in the fourth off 2017 Tampa Bay first rounder Brendan McKay and a four-run ninth inning put Dunedin in the win column. Josh Palacios had three hits, including a triple, while the quartet of Kacy Clemens, Ivan Castillo, D.J. Davis and Rodrigo Orozco finished with two knocks apiece.

Tayler Saucedo surrendered three runs (two earned) over 6-2/3 innings. He scattered six hits and a walk. He struck out only one but he induced a whopping 16 outs on the ground. Jonathan Cheshire allowed a Saucedo run to score and one of his own over 1-/3 innings. Ty Tice gave up another before getting the last three outs of the game.


Lansing 6 Bowling Green 4

The Lugnuts wasted a 4-0 lead but single runs in the last two innings gave them the W. Norberto Obeso singled home the winning run in the eighth and Chavez Young doubled home the insurance run after collecting a triple, a walk and two RBI earlier in the game. He also stole his 15th base of the year. Cullen Large went deep for the fifth time this season. Reggie Pruitt had two hits and two stolen bases. Brock Lundquist and Samad Taylor both doubled.

Donnie Sellers was in line for the win after five shutout innings that included two hits, two walks and two strikeouts. Maximo Castillo coughed up all four runs over three innings but got the win. Dany Jimenez worked a one-hit ninth for the save.


DSL Blue Jays 6 DSL Diamondbacks 4 (10 Innings)

Alberto Rodriguez walked it off with a two-run blast as the Jays overcame a 4-3 deficit in extras. That was Rodriguez's second long ball in as many days. Jhon Solarte had a three-hit game that included a triple with a walk and a stolen base. Miguel Hiraldo also put up a trey in the hit column.

Adrian Hernandez gave up a run over three innings but struck out five. Williams Moreno and Ronald Govea combined for three scoreless frames. Jhoan Dominguez gave up two runs (one earned) in 2-2/3 innings. Jeison Contreras also gave up an unearned markerand blew the save but got the win in relief over his 1-1/3 innings.
