The #BlueJays affiliates won just one out of six Monday. Buffalo and Dunedin had the day off. The Gulf Coast League Jays were rained out.

Reading 9 New Hampshire 3

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit a two-run homer to score a Bo Bichette walk that tied the game in the third before Reading scored the next seven runs. Jon Berti went deep in the ninth as part of a two-hit night. Bichette had a single and two walks. Connor Panas singled and walked.

Josh DeGraaf was dinged for five runs (three earned) on nine hits with a 4-0 K/BB total over four innings. Justin Dillon gave up the other four runs on three innings but Danny Young worked a scoreless eighth.


Lakeland 8 Dunedin 7 (10 Innings)

The D-Jays had leads of 4-0 and 7-1 before flushing this one down the toilet. Kacy Clemens had a two-run double and Ivan Castillo had a one-run extra-base knock. Alberto Mineo hit a home run.among his three hits. Kevin Smith was 2-for-5. Logan Warmoth walked once in five plate appearances.

Zach Logue was in line for the win after six strong innings of one-run ball on six hits and a walk. He struck out three and had seven outs on the ground. GCL call-up Anderson Nunez gave up three runs in one-third of an inning while William Ouellette allowed one in two-thirds of a frame. Juliandry Higuera gave up a run without getting an out, Ty Tice was touched up for a run in two innings before Jackson McClelland was victimized for an unearned marker in two-thirds of an inning.


Lansing 2 Cedar Rapids 0

The Lugnuts ended a nine-game losing streak as Ryan Gold drove in the only run they needed in the second with an RBI single. Gold was 2-for-3 while Samad Taylor and Brandon Grudzielanek contributed a pair of hits. Chavez Young was 1-for-3 with a double.

Jordan Barrett gave up just two hits and a walk and struck out four over seven shutout innings to pick up his first Midwest League win. Dalton Rodriguez and Dany JImenez earned the hold and save with a shutout inning respectively.


Hillsboro 6 Vancouver 3

The C's lost their first-half finale to fall to 19-19, one game behind North Division-winning Everett. More details about the game and the C's Expos-style uniforms can be found right here.


Pulaski 6 Bluefield 3

An Alejando Kirk sacrifice fly and a two-run triple by Dominic Abbadessa staked the Bluef-Jays to a three-run first but that didn't last. De Los Santos had a two-hit night and D.J. Neal had a hit and a walk. Abbadessa also took one for the team. Jose Theran singled and stole a base.

Claudio Galva coughed up four runs (three earned) over five innings on eight hits (including a homer) and a walk while whiffing two. Adams Cuevas allowed the other two runs over three innings. Grant Townsend struck out two in a shutout ninth.


DSL D-Backs1 8 DSL Blue Jays 4

Hanley Acevedo had two hits, a walk and a run batted in. Pedro Hurtado and Kenny Mauricio had the other hits. Miguel Hiraldo was 0-for-4 with a run scored.

Santos Moreno was one out short of a quality start as he surrendered three runs on five hits but struck out four with zero walks.Pedro Padilla had no control by walking three and plunking a hitter, giving up two runs. Jose Brito walked three and gave up three runs (one earned) in his one inning of work. Pedro Guzman pitched 1-1/3 scoreless frames and Sergio Leon had a shutout inning.
