Buffalo 11 Toledo 5

Andy Burns, Socrates Brito and Richard Urena all went deep. Michael De La Cruz had two hits.

Conor Fisk got the win by checking the Mud Hens on two runs (one earned) over six frames on three hits and two walks while ringing up seven.


Binghamton 2 New Hampshire - 7 innings

Thomas Hatch had a six-inning complete game, giving up two on six hits with a 5-0 K/BB total. Cullen Large and Vinny Capra had the only hits.


New Hampshire 3 Binghamton 1 - 7 Innings

Joey Murray yielded a solo homer among two hits, walked four and plunked another over five innings but he struck out eight for his first Double-A win. Jake Fishman had the two-inning save.

Cullen Large had two hits and drove in a run. Chad Spanberger was 1-for-3 with two RBI and has a nine-game hit streak but is hitting just .230 on the season.


Dunedin 8 Clearwater 3

Reggie Pruitt had two hits, a walk and a stolen base in the lead-off spot. Chavez Young, Kevin Vicuna and Nick Podkul also had two hits apiece with Podkul hitting his first Florida State League homer.

Kyle Johnston walked seven over five innings but still got the win by limiting the Threshers to three runs. Maverik Buffo pitched three shutout innings and Kyle Weatherly worked the ninth without incident.


Vancouver 9 Eugene 0

Tanner Morris had two hits, two walks and a stolen base and is hitting .316 in August. Jesus Lopez clubbed his first homer of the season.

Nick Fraze struck out three over three innings of one-hit ball. Luis Quinones got the win with four innings, striking out eight for his first pro win. His only blemish was a hit by pitch to the first batter he faced but Philip Clarke threw him out trying to steal second. His ERA is 0.86.


Bluefield 7 Bristol 5

P.K. Morris had a three-run homer to give him seven on the year and added a stolen base. Miguel Hiraldo had three hits to push his hitting streak to 12 games and is hitting .312. Eric Rivera is up to .301 after a 2-for-5 night.

Felipe Casteneda pitched five relief innings of one-run ball for the win to improve to 3-2. He was dinged for a solo homer among four hits, walking four and whiffing four.


GCL Blue Jays 4 GCL Phillies 2

The lone two-hit game was turned in by Orelvis Martinez. Hugo Cardona is hitting just .206 but has 18 stolen bases. Alberto Rodriguez singled, walked and swiped a base.

Coppertone was burned for a solo homer and struck out four over three innings. Rafael Monsion got the win with four shutout innings on three hits and two walks and struck out three to bring his ERA down to 1.71.


DSL White Sox 9 DSL Blue Jays 1

Amell Brazoban and Daniel Oliva had the only hits. Bejardi Meza spun five innings of one-run ball on three hits and three walks with three whiffs.
