The Jays are 2-2 after four games. It's too early to make any sweeping statements but lets just note that Vladdy is not hitting, his average is .222. And while Bo is hitting .250, he has no walks and no extra base hits. Danny Jansen and Teoscar are leading the offense.

The pitching has generally been good although Rafael Dolis does not inspire confidence. Anthony Bass has looked very good.

For the rest of this week, the Jays play three more games at Nationals Park. Wednesday and Thursdays games have the Jays as the home team. Thursday is a getaway day special at 4pm. The Jays then head to Philadelphia where the clubhouse will hopefully be fully cleansed and blown clear of airborne particles. That will complete ten games in ten days with Monday being an off day.

Tanner Roark and Nate Pearson will start the next two days to complete the first trip through the starting pitchers. Thomas Hatch will likely drop to the bullpen to accommodate Pearson.
