Hat tip to Josh Norris from BA for the title. Orelvis hit his 18th home run and Sem Robberse pitched well in a Dunedin win. Riley Adams has a hot bat at the moment too and he helped Buffalo win. Austin Martin is another who hit well and New Hampshire won. Adam Kloffenstein was roughed up as the C's lost.
Syracuse 6 Buffalo 10

Lakeland 2 Dunedin 6
This is what I noted from yesterday's games.
Anthony Kay started, pitched three innings, gave up three runs, and left with the Bisons down 3-0. Logan Warmoth hit a three run home run to the opposite field in the bottom of the third to get Kay off the hook. After Syracuse scored a run off Tyler Chatwood in the fifth, the Bisons scored five in the bottom of the inning. Tyler White and Riley Adams doubled in two runs each, Christian Colon singled in another.
Adams had two doubles. His bat is hot right now. Every starter picked up a hit. Warmoth and Nash Knight had two hits each.
Casey Lawrence loves pitching in AA. After his recent demotion he threw five shutout innings of two hit ball.
Austin Martin was 2-2 with two walks and three runs scored. One of his hits was a triple hit off the right centre field wall. There has been a lot of chatter about Martin's lack of power since the Futures game. Martin had taken a pitch off his hand earlier in the season. This triple will help quiet that talk, especially if Martin can add to it in the next few games. Otto Lopez drove in two runs with a double. Will Mc Affer took a 5-0 lead to the ninth but couldn't close it out, Kyle Johnston had to come on for the save.
It was a bad first inning for Adam Kloffenstein. A couple of walks and a single were followed by a grand slam. An error and a triple led to an unearned run and after one Kloff had thrown 34 pitches and the C's were down 5-0. A couple more walks in the second inning, along with two outs, ended the night for Kloff. It took him 51 pitches to get five outs. C
Just five singles for the C's offense. Of the three runs they scored, two reached base by being hit and the third walked. Will Robertson had two hits.
Sem Robberse had a good start, just one earned run allowed in five inning with four K's.
Orelvis Martinez hit his 18th home run, added a sac fly, but also made his 15th error. Steward Berroa hit his fourth home run, a two run shot. Berroa was 3-3 on the night and the 22 year old Dominican is having an excellent July. He is hitting .345 with a .973 OPS after a lackluster May and June. He is pounding lefties, hitting .371 against them. He is a switch hitter and obviously is better from the right side.
Third Star - Riley Adams
Second Star - Austin Martin
First Star - Steward Berroa
