New Hampshire was the only winner on the farm Tuesday.

Worcester 4 Buffalo 2

The Bisons had just five hits in this one against the Woo Sox, two belonging to Tyler White who had an RBI single and was hit by a pitch. Danny Jansen had a sacrifice fly and was 1-for-3. Otto Lopez was 0-for-5 with a run scored.

Nick Allgeyer gave up all four runs in 4-2/3 innings on seven hits and three walks and struck out four. Hobie Harris got the final out of the fifth and stranded two runners. Rafael Dolis (surprising nobody claimed him), Travis Bergen, A.J. Cole and Anthony Castro finished up with a shutout inning apiece.


New Hampshire 2 Binghamton 1

The Fisher Cats had just four hits but it was enough against the Mets affiliate. Chavez Young singled, walked, was hit by a pitch, had a sacrifice fly, stole a base and scored on a wild pitch. Samad Taylor, Vinny Capra and Jordan Groshans had the other base hits.

Luis Quinones walked three batters but gave up just three hits over six shutout innings to get the win. He struck out three and got seven outs on the ground. Johnny Barbarto gave up a solo homer but struck out four over two innings. Adrian Hernandez rung up a batter in the ninth for the save.


Hillsboro 8 Vancouver 2

In the thrilling battle for fourth place in the High-A West, the Diamondbacks affiliate drew to within a game of the C’s with a series opening win. Will Robertson homered for the third time this year and Eric Rivera had a run-scoring single among his two hits. Spencer Horwitz had two hits but Orelvis Martinez went 0-for-5.

Sem Robberse took the loss but spun a quality start of three runs over six innings for the Hillsboro Americans. A two-run homer was among the three hits he allowed with one walks. Robberse rung up four batters and induced seven outs on the ground. Will McAffer was whacked for five runs in 1-1/3 innings. Jol Concepion got the final two outs.

The C’s announced Tuesday they will remain in Hillsboro for the rest of the season thanks to COVID-19.


Lakeland 12 Dunedin 2

Zach Britton gave Dunedin a 1-0 lead against the Flying Tigers with an RBI single in the first inning as part of a two-hit performance. Dasan Brown and Mac Mueller singled and walked. Riley Tirotta and Miguel Hiraldo had base hits with Hiraldo scoring on a wild pitch.Steward Berroa was 0-for-5 but stole his 43rd base of the year.

Alejandro Melean was knocked around for five runs on five hits—including a two-run homer—and three walks over 4-2/3 innings. He plunked two hitters and struck out six. Elieser Medrano and Harry Rutkowski gave up three runs apiece and Elixon Caballero coughed up one.


FCL Tigers East 6 FCL Blue Jays 4

Brock Lundquist clubbed a two-run homer among his two hits and Adriel Sotolongo put up a pair in the hit column and stole a base. Trevor Schwecke had a hit, a hit by pitch, a stolen base and two runs scored.

Julian Merryweather came out of the bubble wrap to pitch a shutout first inning. Geison Urbaez gave up four runs in 2-2/3 innings to take the loss. Bejardi Mesa stranded a runner and scattered a hit and a walk over 3-1/3 shutout innings with three whiffs. Guillermo Villasmil surrendered the other runs in the eighth.
