Buffalo, Vancouver and Dunedin all recorded comeback wins to complete the organizational sweep Wednesday. New Hampshire’s game in Reading was again cancelled due to COVID complications.

Buffalo 8 Syracuse 6

The Bisons trailed 4-2 but a four-run rally in the sixth gave them their 10th win in a row against the Mets. Otto Lopez had a two-run single to tie it before wreaking havoc on the base paths. He stole second and a throwing error allowed Forrest Wall to score and Lopez to move to third. Lopez would then score on a wild pitch. Cullen Large capped off the scoring with a two-run triple in the eighth. Wall finished a home run shy of the cycle but reached base four times by drawing a walk. Kellin Deglan had three hits that included an RBI double. Richard Ureña also had three hits. Tyler White had an RBI groundout and two walks and Gregory Polanco heard ball four twice.

Zach Logue allowed two solo homers among four hits over five innings. He walked one, struck out four and recorded five outs on the grass. Rafael Dolis got the win despite giving up two unearned runs in the sixth. Kyle Johnston, Fitz Stadler and Anthony Castro each tossed a scoreless frame.

Vancouver 11 Spokane 5

The Canadians snapped a 5-5 tie with six runs in the ninth to knock off the Rockies affiliate. Zac Cook singled home the winning run and that was followed by RBI knocks by Tanner Morris and Spencer Horwitz. An RBI double by Rafael Lantigua and an RBI groundout by Philip Clarke sealed the deal. Horwitz had three hits to tie the Northwest League/High-A West record for the longest hitting streak at 26 games and drove in three runs. Rafael Lantigua had two doubles after not starting the game. He replaced Luis De Los Santos in the fourth inning after De Los Santos grounded out in the bottom of the third. Cook was on base three times with a single, a walk and a hit by pitch and Will Robertson reached base thrice with a double, a free pass and a plunk.

Adam Kloffenstein allowed five runs on seven hits and three walks over 4-1/3 innings but struck out seven to go along with four outs on the fake turf. Hayden Juenger pitched a perfect 1-2/3 innings with two strikeouts and a stranded runner. Gabriel Ponce punched out four of the six batters he faced over two perfect innings to earn the win. Will McAffer put up a bagel in the ninth.

Dunedin 11 Tampa 8

The D-Jays used a five-run ninth to come back from an 8-5 deficit to knock off the Yankees affiliate. RBI singles by Zach Britton, P.K. Morris, Victor Mesia and Leo Jimenez bracketed a wild pitch that resulted in the winning run crossing the plate. Steward Berroa bashed his seventh homer of the year and stole his 51st base. He had a three-hit night along with Morris who had a pair of doubles. Jimenez was 2-for-2 with three walks and was hit by a pitch. Also joining the two-hit club were Morris, Dasan Brown, Zach Britton and Miguel Hiraldo with Brown drawing a walk and Britton taking one for the team. Brown and Hiraldo stole two bases apiece.

Trent Palmer pitched five innings of three-run ball and struck out 11, scattering four hits, two walks and a plunk. Jimmy Burnette was jolted for two runs in the sixth and Matt Swanson allowed three more in the seventh. Connor Cooke gave up a hit but struck out the side in the eighth to get the win. Julian Valdez worked a one-hit ninth for the save.
