Buffalo are on a roll, they won their seventh in a row on Friday. This game followed a familiar pattern, the starting pitcher goes five innings, the bullpen then delivers four shutout innings. Meanwhile the veterans on the Bisons roster drive in runs. On Friday Bowden Francis went five shutout innings, the bullpen did give up one run but three shutout innings were enough. And veterans Mallex Smith, Gregory Polanco, Tyler White, Christian Colon and Juan Graterol drove in nine of the 12 runs.

Mallex Smith moved from the ninth spot to number one after his big night on Thursday. He opened the scoring for Buffalo in the first, he walked and scored on a Tyler White single. In the third Smith homered to make it 2-0. Smith singled in two runs in the fourth to make it 4-0 Bisons and Smith had scored two and driven in three. In the fifth Gregory Polanco homered. Mallex Smith finished 2-5 with three RBI. Polanco was 4-5 with two RBI. Juan Graterol and Logan Warmoth also had two RBI.
Bowden Francis threw five shutout innings but he did walk five. He did just allow one hit. As mentioned above four relievers allowed just one run.
