It's almost time for some minor league baseball. This year, because of the lockout, some minor league baseball will start before the major leagues. Buffalo start on Tuesday. The other three teams start on Friday, the same day as the Jays.

Rosters will be announced over the next few days. The only specific report we have seen out of Dunedin is that Orelvis Martinez will start in New Hampshire. This is an aggressive assignment given that Orelvis spent just a month in Vancouver last year. He has looked good in spring training but that isn't always the best indicator.

The other news out of camp is that Jordan Groshans is injured again. He strained an oblique about a week ago and will likely not be able to start with Buffalo on Tuesday.

The only other report I saw out of minor league camp was that Connor Cooke, a tenth round selection in last years draft, has been pitching very well. There is a lot of competition for starting pitcher places, particularly for Vancouver and Dunedin.

I will update this as more news becomes available.
