Buffalo and New Hampshire split their doubleheaders. Vancouver and Dunedin lost.

Worcester 4 Buffalo 2 (Game 1 - 7 Innings)

The Bisons grabbed the early lead with a two-run home run by Samad Taylor in the second inning but the Red Sox rallied to score in their last two at-bats to get the win. L.J. Talley singled and scored on Taylor's two-run poke. Nathan Lukes, Vinny Capra, Cullen Large and Gabriel Moreno also put a '1' in the hit column with Lukes getting a double. Moreno nailed two runners trying to steal at second and third. Kellen Deglan, Josh Fuentes and Mallex Smith were 0-for-9 at the bottom of the order.

Casey Lawrence took the loss in a six-inning complete game. He was hurt by the long ball as Jeter Downs got him in the fifth before Christin Stewart's two-run shot capped off a three-run sixth. Lawrence gave up six hits and walked a pair, striking out one.

Buffalo 7 Pawtucket 5 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)

The Herd were up 7-2 before the WooSox made it close. Nick Podkul poked one over the wall in center in the third inning but it was a three-run shot to center by Samad Taylor in the sixth that proved to be the difference. Podkul walked twice and Taylor walked once and stole a base. Eight Bisons reached base once with Nathan Lukes and Vinny Capra getting two hits apiece with Capra getting an RBI double. Stevie Berman took one for the team with the bases loaded, had a base hit and a base on balls and threw out a runner trying to steal second. Logan Warmoth singled and swiped a bag.

Andrew Bash lasted 3-2/3 innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits and two walks while punching out four. Brandon Eisert pitched 1-1/3 shutout innings of one-hit ball to get the win. Jeremy Beasley struck out two of the three men he faced in the sixth. Joe Biagini could not retire any of the five men he faced in the ninth, getting charged with three runs. Adrian Hernandez stranded two runners, overcoming a walk to strike out the side for the save.

New Hampshire 10 Reading 2 (Game 1 - 7 Innings)

A Spencer Horwitz RBI single and a three-run bomb from Phil Clarke put the Fisher Cats on the road to victory over the Fightin Phils. Horwitz singled home two more runs in the third and Clarke knocked home the final run in the ninth. Will Robertson doubled home two and Orelvis Martinez doubled home one. Horwitz, Clarke and Robertson all had three hits. The top eight hitters in the order had at least one hit.

Joey Murray finished an out shy of the win, giving up a two-run homer among two hits and four walks. He struck out four and got seven outs on the ground. Lefty Braden Scott was the winner, stranding a runner and pitching 1-1/3 innings of one-walk ball. Sean Rackoski tossed a 1-2-3 seventh.

Reading 5 New Hampshire 2 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)

New Hampshire FC did all their scoring in the first with an RBI triple from Spencer Horwitz to drive in a Rafael Lantigua single. Horwitz came home on a Zac Cook base hit. There were just two more baserunners the rest of the way with Tanner Morris and Ryan Gold drawing walks. Orelvis Martinez was 0-for-3. Will Robertson struck out three times.

Nick Fraze took the loss as he surrendered four runs on eight hits, a walk and a hit by pitch. He allowed a solo homer and struck out four. Cre Finfrock gave up the other run over the final 1-1/3 innings.

Hillsboro 7 Vancouver 6 (11 Innings)

The C's blew a 6-2 lead in their loss to the Diamondbacks affiliate. Riley Tirotta homered and had two hits while P.K. Morris and Miguel Hiraldo also had two-hit efforts with a walk. Hiraldo also stole three bases. Harry Ray and Garrett Spain had the other hits. Leo Jiménez walked twice and Addison Barger heard ball four but also went 0-for-4. Vancouver was 2-for-15 with RISP, stranding nine.

Hunter Gregory gave up two runs on six hits and struck out two in 4-1/3 innings. Alex Nolan let one of two Gregory runners score over 1-2/3 innings in which he walked two and whiffed three. Garrett Farmer and Mark Simon allowed the Hops to tie it by coughing up two runs apiece in their one inning of work. Jimmy Burnette scattered two hits and struck out five in his two innings. Will McAffer took the loss after the placed runner scored on a Tirotta throwing error at third.

Bradenton 6 Dunedin 2

The Pirates affiliate snapped a 1-1 tie in the fourth and scored the next five runs to knock off the D-Jays. A bases-loaded walk by Angel Del Rosario got Dunedin on the board in the fourth. Rainer Nunez clubbed a two-out homer in the ninth to cap off a three-hit day that included a pair of strikeouts. Jordan Groshans was 1-for-5. Dasan Brown, Adrian Pinto and Jose Ferrer had the other safeties. Ferrer also drew two walks as did Gabriel Martinez, Adriel Sotolongo and Damiano Palmegiani so every D-Jay got on base at least once. However, Dunedin was 0-for-8 with runners in scoring position and left 13 men left on base.

Jonatan Bernal had a lot of traffic on the bases, allowing 11 baserunners on nine hits and two walks. He gave up three runs and struck out two over five innings. Lefty Wilgenis Alvarado gave up the other three runs over the final three frames.
