Buffalo and Dunedin won. New Hampshire finished second on the scoreboard. Vancouver had a second straight night off.

Buffalo 4 Lehigh Valley 3

A Nathan Lukes home run in the third and a Samad Taylor two-run single in the eighth helped the Herd knock off the Phillies affiliate. Taylor had two of the six Buffalo hits. Jordan Groshans, Logan Warmoth and Josh Fuentes had the others. Warmoth is hitting .308 and has drawn 16 walks against 15 strikeouts. Mallex Smith drew a walk, stole a base and was hit by a pitch.

Casey Lawrence limited the Iron Pigs to two runs over six innings on four hits and a walk. He gave up a home run but struck out six. Adrian Hernandez got the win by recording two strikeouts in a perfect seventh. Julian Merryweather held things down with a strikeout and a walk in the eighth. Matt Gage got the save despite allowing a run on two hits and two walks in the ninth.

Binghamton 9 New Hampshire 2

The Mets number two and three prospects according to MLB Pipeline Brett Baty and Ronny Mauricio homered off Nick Fraze as the Fisher Cats lost again to the Rumble Ponies. Fraze was cuffed around for five runs on five hits and two hit by pitches and struck out only one over three innings. Marcus Reyes was roughed up for three runs over 1-2/3 innings and Trey Cumbie coughed up a run in his one inning. Geison Urbaez allowed a Reyes runner to score but got four outs. Sean Rackoski worked a clean ninth.

New Hampshire got their two runs in the bottom of the ninth. Sebastian Espino swatted a two-out, two-run homer that scored a Luis De Los Santos double. De Los Santos had three hits and a walk for a perfect night at the plate. Orelvis Martinez doubled and took one for the team. Spencer Horwitz and Steward Berroa also had a notch in the hit column. Tanner Morris was 0-for-5.

Dunedin 7 Tampa 4

Gabriel Martinez got things going with a two-run single in the first but it was a five-run outburst in the sixth that boosted Dunedin to victory over the Yankees affiliate. An RBI double by Estiven Machado and a two-run double by Cameron Eden bookended an Adriel Sotolongo run-scoring groundout and a Damiano Palmegiani run-scoring base knock. Palmegiani, Rainer Nunez and Adrian Pinto all had two hits with Pinto stealing a couple of bases. Danny Jansen was 1-for-4.

Kendry Rojas pitched five solid frames for the win by allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out eight. Jonatan Bernal surrendered all three runs in 2-2/3 innings but Conor Larkin struck out two and got the final four outs for the save.
