New Hampshire and Dunedin won. Vancouver nearly did. Buffalo's game in Rochester was rained out. They will play two on Saturday.

New Hampshire 4 Portland 3

The Fisher Cats scored twice in the fourth and twice in the seventh to defeat the Red Sox affiliate. Phil Clarke took one for the team and L.J. Talley walked with the bases loaded to put the two runs across in the fourth. Cameron Eden doubled home the other two runs in the seventh in his Double-A debut. Talley drew two walks for a perfect night at the plate and Clarke had a base hit to go with his plunk. Tanner Morris doubled twice, Orelvis Martinez singled and Spencer Horwitz walked.

Luis Quiñones pitched 2-1/3 shutout innings, walking two but striking out three. Andrew Bash gave up a run-in 3-2/3 innings, offsetting four hits with four strikeouts to pick up the victory. Gabriel Ponce worked two shutout frames for the hold. Jake Elliott coughed up a pair of runs in the ninth but got the save.

Spokane 6 Vancouver 5

The Rockies affiliate built up a 6-0 lead and were able to hold off a furious ninth inning rally from the C's. Chad Dallas gave up two first inning runs but pitched three shutout frames after that. He gave up three hits and four walks but struck out four. Conor Larkin served up a two-run homer in his two innings and Garrett Farmer gave up the other two runs over the final three frames but struck out three.

Trevor Schwecke broke up Spokane's no-hit bid with a two-out single in the sixth. He would bring home the first run with a sacrifice fly in the eighth. A sac fly by Steward Berroa, an Addison Barger base hit, a Schwecke walk and a wild pitch led to four runs in the ninth but Miguel Hiraldo struck out with the bases loaded to end the game. Schwecke had two walks to go with his single. Davis Schneider had the only two-hit night for Monty's Mounties. Barger drew a walk to get on base twice and Harry Ray had two free passes. Andrés Sosa and Mack Mueller took one for the team.

Dunedin 4 Clearwater 3

The D-Jays got some help from the Phillies affiliate to pull this one out. A passed ball in the seventh and a fielding error by the Threshers second baseman in the ninth to led to a couple of runs. Rainer Nuñez hit a tapper back to the mound to bring home Amell Brazoban with the winning run in the ninth. Brazoban doubled home the first Dunedin run in the third. Adrian Pinto, Roque Salinas and Glenn Santiago all had two hits apiece. Jammer Hernandez singled and walked twice. Santiago threw out a runner at home from left field.

Michael Dominguez surrendered a pair of runs on three hits and two walks over four innings but struck out four. Sean Wymer made his season debut by working around a hit and a walk with one strikeout in a scoreless third. Soenni Martinez struck out one in a shutout fourth. Connor Cooke got the win with three innings of one-run ball on three hits and a walk. He rung up a trio of batters.
