Wednesday Late MLU - Robertson + De Los Santos Veto Senators

Here's Wednesday's late minor league recap. Buffalo and New Hampshire won.

Buffalo 2 Syracuse 1

Yoshi Tsutsugo lifted a sacrifice fly in the 10th to score the game-winning run against the Mets. L.J. Talley homered in the second for the first run of the game. Otto Lopez had two hits and Talley and Cullen Large singled and walked. It was Large's single in the 10th that moved placed runner John Aiello to third before Tsutsugo's sac fly. Davis Schneider also had a hit.

Casey Lawrence scattered four hits over five shutout innings and struck out four. Shaun Anderson and Nick Allgeyer put up a zero with Allgeyer striking out the side. Kyle Johnston gave up the tying run in the eighth. Colt Griffin pitched two innings and struck out four to get the win.


New Hampshire 6 Harrisburg 4

Will Robertson homered twice with solo shots in the second and fourth innings. Addison Barger also went deep in the fifth before Luis De Los Santos clubbed a three-run shot in the seventh to provide the margin of victory. Robertson had three hits and De Los Santos and Robert Robertis had two apiece. Barger was hit by a pitch to reach base twice. Cam Eden walked twice and Orelvis Martinez heard ball four once.

Jackson Melean gave up a two-run homer among five hits, allowing three runs and striking out a batter over five innings. Jake Elliott struck out three over two shutout frames of one-hit ball for the win. Yosver Zulueta gave up a run on a hit, a walk and a hit by pitch and Jimmy Burnette struck out the side with a one-hit ninth for the save.
