Notes

Hayden Juenger struck out four over two shutout innings and Nate Pearson was up to 99 miles per hour with a shutout inning that included a whiff. Ernie Clement is 7-for-15 in his last four games after going 2-for-4 with a stolen base Wednesday. Otto López, Addison Barger and Spencer Horwitz went a combined 0-for-12 at the top of the order. Cam Eden walked and stole his sixth base of the year, batting .278.

Sean Mellen got the win in relief of Ricky Tiedemann with 2-1/3 perfect frames. Luis Quiñones put up two more goose eggs in relief with three Ks. Dylan Rock is rocking it so far with a 5-for-6 start at Double-A. Steward Berroa was 2-for-4 with a double and a swipe. Orelvis Martinez and Phil Clarke are inching close to the Interstate after their first homers of the year at .081 and .095 respectively.

A Vancouver starter walked six for the second straight night but this time the C's overcame that to win. Chad Dallas had four shutout frames to start but only get one more out. Mason Fluharty struck out five and T.J. Brock struck out four to bring it home for Monty's Mounties. Alan Roden has a six-game on-base streak in which he has been on-base at least twice a game including a 2-for-5 game Wednesday. Alex De Jesus and Rainer Nuñez both homered. Nuñez enjoys hitting in Everett as he homered there in three straight games there last year. Nuñez is off to a slow start as he is hitting just .167 but he is showing signs of coming out of it after a three-run double Tuesday.

Tucker Toman walked, was hit by a pitch and scored the game's only run while Peyton Williams was plunked twice. Rikeblin De Castro had Dunedin's only hit. Ian Churchill and Ryan Chasse allowed just a base runner in their two-inning stints, striking out two apiece for the win and save respectively.
