Notes

The Fisher Cats could not wake up their bats for an 11:00 am game. Steward Berroa had a hit and a walk but was caught stealing. Miguel Hiraldo, Leo Jiménez and Sebastian Espino had the other singles. Damiano Palmegiani drew a walk but Orelvis Martinez wore the 0-for-4 collar. Paxton Schultz put up a four in the hit, runs, earned runs, walks and strikeouts columns over five innings to take the loss. His groundout/flyout total was 5-4. Alejandro Melean pitched two shutout frames with two walks to lower his ERA to 3.14. Hagen Danner worked around a hit and a walk and had a strikeout in a scoreless ninth.

Peyton Williams had an RBI double and RBI single to nudge his batting average to .203. Tucker Toman was 2-for-3 with a walk and Roque Salinas had two hits. Sammy Hernández had a run-scoring triple. Kendry Rojas gave up three runs (two earned) on four innings but punched out nine for the win. Ryan Chasse stranded the bases loaded for Ian Churcill with a game-ending whiff for the save.

Gabby Martinez had a three-hit night and Rainer Nuñez had two knocks and a walk, boosting their batting averages to .277 and .268. Alex De Jesus drew three walks and Karl Ellison had two hits and is now hitting .321. Matt Svanson made his 2023 debut and tossed a scoreless frame.
