Rafael Lantigua again led the way for Buffalo. He reached base six times. Buffalo won easily with Bowden Francis returning. Sem Robberse and Trenton Wallace both pitched well for their teams but both took the loss anyway. Dunedin's game was suspended. Brandon Barriera threw 2.1 innings before it rained.

Buffalo 12 Lehigh Valley 2

New Hampshire 2 Portland 3

Vancouver 3 Spokane 7

Fort Myers 2 Dunedin 1 - suspended in 3rd inning

Three Stars

Third Star - Trenton Wallace

Second Star - Sem Robberse

First Star - Rafael Lantigua

Bowden Francis came off the IL and gave the Bisons starters a boost. He went four innings and struck out seven. He gave up an unearned run as Otto Lopez made an error. It was Lopez's third error in two games. Yosver Zulueta went two perfect innings, three K's. Zulueta has been pitching better recently and especially since he went to the bullpen. Jimmy Burnette made his AAA debut and pitched a clean inning with one strikeout.

Rafael Lantigua stayed hot. He was 3-3 with a double, three walks and three RBI. His OPS is up to .998. The Bisons had just eight hits, they walked 14 times.

Sem Robberse pitched well despite giving up three runs and taking the loss for New Hampshire. Through five innings he had just allowed two hits, although one was a solo home run. Then in the sixth the lead off hitter got on base through an infield hit. Then with two outs, and almost finished for the day, Robberse gave up another home run, a two run shot. He struck out seven in his six innings.

Orelvis Martinez had an unusual game, for him. He singled and walked twice. Miguel Hiraldo had two hits.

Trenton Wallace started for Vancouver and had a start like Robberse's. Through four innings Spokane had just one solo home run off him. But in the fifth he walked two, both of whom scored with a two out single. He struck out eight in his five innings. TJ Brock added a shutout inning. Through 18.1 innings this season he has a 0.79 WHIP and a K9 of 14.4. He could be following Mason Fluharty to New Hampshire before too long.

Rainer Nunez and Dasan Brown had two hits each. Nunez has an OPS over 1.000 in May after a slow start. For some reason he is hitting .391 on the road and just .230 at home. All of his home runs have come on the road too.

Brandon Barriera started for Dunedin and went 2.1 innings until the rain and lightening came. He was fine through two innings but hit the first two batters of the third. A double steal wasa followed by an RBI ground out and a single. Barriera threw 43 pitches and got nine swings and misses, five on the FB and four on the slider. His FB averaged 93 and was up to 95.
