NOTES

Excellent pitching for the Bisons. Seven pitchers combined on a three hitter. Paxton Schultz started, went three innings, didn't allow a hit, and yet was pulled. Schultz has a 3.50 ERA in four starts, just what the Bisons needed. Six relievers threw an inning each and you could say all were good, although Yosver Zulueta loaded the bases and then got out of it.

Otto Lopez accounted for both runs with his first home run of the season. No power? I got your power right here!

NH came back from being 7-5 down in the sixth to win 8-7. Damiano Palmegiani doubled in the sixth run in the seventh and Leo Jimenez doubled in the tying and go ahead runs in the eighth. Jimenez had two doubles, Rainer Nunez and PK Morris had two hits each.

Sem Robberse just went four innings, two hits but three walks and 79 pitches. Credit to TJ Brock, who got four outs, and Mason Fluharty who got the save by pitching the ninth.

Devereaux Harrison did his thing for Vancouver, five innings, six hits, one run, five K's. He has a 1.16 ERA as a starter. He left with the lead but Eric Pardinho and Naswell Paulino gave up five between them.

Alan Roden had a big game 4-4 with a walk and four runs scored. Two of his hits were doubles. Dasan Brown and Alex De Jesus had two hits each. Brown has been hitting better recently. He has a six game hit streak and has hit in 11 out of his last 13 games.

The Dunedin game was tied at two heading to the bottom of the ninth. Leading off for the D Jays was Jeffrey Wehler who just joined the org recently. He hit his first home run for the walk off. The Jays just had four hits, Manuel Beltre had two and Tucker Toman one.

Irv Carter started and had a nervy first inning. He might not like runners on base. A lead off single was followed by a stolen base and later a run via a ground out. A hit batter also stole second and scored on a single. Two runs allowed. Through the next four innings three more baserunners reached. One stole, and another advanced on a balk. Overall a decent start, five innings, two runs, but just one strikeout. Lazaro Estrada went three innings to get the win, he struck out five.
