Vancouver in Extras Was the Only Win

Just like the big club, hits were in short supply in the minors. The only hitting team was Vancouver who won in ten innings. Buffalo had six hits, New Hampshire four and Dunedin five. All lost.

The Bisons offense took a hit without Davis Schneider. The Bisons had 6 hits, the same as their opponents but were outscored by six. Addison Barger homered, his only hit. Orelvis doubled, his only hit. No hitter had two hits and there were no other extra base hits. Drew Hutchison went eight innings for LHV.


Andrew Bash made the spot start. He gave them four innings with two runs allowed. Zac Pop was the worst pitcher, three runs in one inning.


Just four hits for NH. Rainer Nunez was 2-2 with a walk.


Luis Quinones started and went five scoreless innings. Juan Nunez walked three and gave up two runs to take the loss. TJ Brock gave up three runs in the eighth.


Peyton Williams doubled in the winning run in the tenth inning. That was one of his three hits in the game. Cade Doughty also had three hits. Garrett Spain doubled in two runs. Jeffrey Wehler was 2-3 with two walks. His average is still at .500 in high A.


Devereaux Harrison started and was a little wild. He walked five in five innings. By limiting hits to two, he only gave up a couple of runs.


The D Jays were held to five singles. Angel Del Rosario had two but then was removed from the game. Kendry Rojas was charged with five runs in three innings.
