NOTES

Glenn Santiago came into Friday with one at bat this season. He was called on to play first base and placed at the bottom of the order. Santiago went 3-3 with a walk, a home run and a double. Josh Kasevich went 4-5, Alan Roden had two hits, Zach Britton two doubles and Garrett Spain homered.

The big comeback saved Michael Dominguez who pitched four innings but was taken deep four times and gave up seven runs.

The C's shut out Hillsboro in game one. Geison Urbaez made the start and threw four innings. He had just one strikeout. Ryan McCarty tripled in both Vancouver runs. He added a single and a stolen base.

The C's had just three hits in game two. McCarty had two more but it was a home run by Nick Goodwin that accounted for both runs. Ryan Jennings started, went five innings, and was charged with four runs. Only one was earned however as Estiven Machado made two errors.

Yhoangel Aponte had a game, a single, two doubles, a triple and two stolen bases. He four of the seven Dunedin hits. The Jays were helped by eight walks and six Tampa errors. The Jays have been beating up on the Yankees which is quite unusual.

Fernando Perez went five innings, allowed two runs and struck out seven.
