NOTES

In the first Buffalo game Alek Manoah gave up four runs and Buffalo had just five hits. Orelvis had two of the five hits.

In the second Buffalo game, Chad Dallas had a tough start, four runs allowed in 3.2 innings. Four runs was OK because he gave up six hits and five walks. Nathan Lukes had two hits. Orelvis pinch hit and singled which, added to his earlier two hits, pushed his average up to .333.

New Hampshire's pitching was deficient in game one. Devereaux Harrison continues to struggle at AA, he was charged with seven runs in just over four innings.

The Fisher Cats had six hits, Garrett Spain hit his third home run of the season. Josh Kasevich had two more hits.

Adam Macko pitched well in game two, five shutout innings with five K's. Ryan Boyer took the loss. The Cats had just three hits, the hot Josh Kasevich did not play, neither did Alan Roden.

Ryan McCarty has been the hottest Vancouver pitcher and that continued. He hit a three run home run and doubled. Nick Goodwin tripled in two runs. Rafael Sanchez started and went four innings with two runs allowed.

Dunedin lost in extra innings. The Yankees first round pick last year, George Lombard Jr battled through a 10 pitch at bat to drive in the winning run. Carson Pierce started and just went 2.2 innings, 52 pitches. It was 2's all around, hits, walks, K's and runs. Sebastian Espino, trying to convert to a pitcher, walked four and struck out two.

Riley Tirotta, on a rehab assignment, hit a three run home run. Tucker Toman also homered which must have felt good as he has been scuffling. The hot and cold Yhoangel Aponte was 0-4 with three K's. The hotter Victor Arias was 2-4 with a triple.
