NOTES

Buffalo shut out Iowa on six hits. Andrew Bash started and went five shutout innings with six K's. Mason Fluharty, Zach Pop and Hagen Danner handled the other four innings.

Rafael Lantigua drove in both runs. Lantigua, Leo Jimenez, Damiano Palmegiani, Payton Henry and Cam Eden all had two hits. Orelvis had a day off.

In contrast to Buffalo, the New Hampshire starter had a game to forget. CJ Van Eyk gave up nine hits while getting just one out. The nine hits led to nine runs and the Fisher Cats were down 9-0 before they got to bat. A lot of the hits were ground balls, I am not sure how hard they were hit but they were finding holes.

They did rally to score eight runs. Devonte Brown had a big game, three hits including an inside the park home run. Alan Roden doubled and walked twice.

Just three hits for the D Jays. Tucker Toman hit his third home run. Arjun Nimmala has been "adjusting" but he singled and walked twice.

Lazaro Estrada made a rehab start and gave up two runs in 2.2 innings.
