All the power guys are in the NL this year?

Even the one AL guy on the leaderboard right now just came over to the AL from the NL this season!

Pujols and Fielder are  legitimate contenders who may storm back, although Albert doesn't get much to swing at these days.

I voted "Other-Pujols".

The difference between the leagues is mostly an illusion. The league averages in all the power departments are simply higher in the NL this year, but the AL is ahead in inter-league play.  The HR totals for Uggla and Miguel Cabrera give an indication of what is going on.

I love that every candidate has at least one vote (not to mentio four "other" votes) ... I love that six of the nine listed have double-digit votes though it saddens me that one of those six is Matt Stairs (c'mon, people!) ... I am amused and bemused that, 120 votes into this thing, I am the first person to mention Alex Rodriguez, who could hit 20 in the next 40 NYY games and not surprise anyone.

Still, I voted for Dunn. Man's a monster.

Then why was he listed?
