Wrigley Field is unbelievably overrated. It's a neat place to see once, but I wouldn't want to make a habit of going there. Small, uncomfy seats, some of which have obstructed views. Crappy and expensive food/beer. Generally poor baseball fans. Go once, enjoy it, then head south to US Cellular.

That's funny, I feel the same about Fenway. I haven't been to Chicago, which is why I voted for that park, but you make Fenway/Wrigley sound similar -- old, bad view, bad seats, bad food, nice to see once, but don't bother going twice.

I would never go back to Fenway unless I was in those Green Monster seats (and even that's just another "do it once so you can say you did it" things).

Wrigley does have the advantage of being the world's largest outdoor singles bar. But it's certainly a lot harder to find beer that isn't made by Budweiser or Old Style than at U.S. Cellular - which has a great open concourse in the outfield bleachers. Wrigley's chief advantage is that you can walk our of the park and into any of a couple dozen watering hioles withing a couple blocks. The last time I was at U.S Cellular it was a 25 minute wait for the first Red Line train to come along. And I ahve no real desire to see the Yankees or BoSox in their home digs

Yeah, from a comfort standpoint Fenway sucks. In addition to what's been mentioned there's a ton of seats that face in odd directions. If you're sitting down the first base line you'll likely be looking at CF.

The nice part is that you're right on top of things if you have a really good seat - it's almost like a minor league park in that regard.

I took a tour of Fenway and got to sit in the Monster seats. That'd be a great place to watch a game.

I voted Wrigley, but nothing beats a spring training game in Florida or Arizona.

I found U.S. Cellular to be a very enjoyable experience (just as long as your closer doesn't bean their two best hitters--I learn from experience) and the ballpark nowadays is totally different and much improved than the park it was 10 years ago. The fans don't get a ton of credit, but they're really great fans and they definitely make the park.

I've only been to Fenway once, and had nice seats about six rows back behind the Red Sox dugout (you can check out the view here.). Yes, they did face away from the plate a bit, but they were closer to the field than the camera bay at Rogers Centre.

I voted for Wrigley because of one televised game last season where the sun started to go down and every player was backlit by this truly magnificent golden glow -- it was so beautiful. I wanted to be there.

Anyways, we don't quite get that light at Rogers Centre because of the height of the upper deck -- Wrigley appears to have a big open space between decks that allows the sun to shine through in such a dramatic fashion. I wonder if it was designed that way on purpose?

How long before someone will wax nostalgic for feelings of the ol' Ex?
