Oh, Chacin should've been on there, yes. Frascatore, I can't help it and this is sort of like Chris Berman and his nicknames, but I keep thinking to myself, "When the moon hits your eye, like a big pizza pie, Frascatore ..."

Candy Maldonado, the people's choice, is indeed a wonderful, mellifluous name - but I have to go with Rance. Both his names are unique, and I have fond memories of him coming up to bat, while my friends and I have cried in unison "R-R-R-ANTS!"

What, no love for Huck Flener?

His major league debut, in someone else's jersey, wearing someone else's shoes and with a borrowed glove (because his luggage was lost or something on his way to being called up) is forever burned into my memory.

I also remember the play-by-play: "If you're wondering why (name forgotten -- whoever's jersey Flener was wearing), the right handed fielder, is on the mound pitching left handed..."

Flener was wearing Shawn Green's jersey. I'm not sure Green had himself appeared in a game for the Jays yet.
