The remaining players for Round 3 are as follows, with any additional nominees mentioned in the below comments:

Jackson Todd
Otto Velez
Frank Viola
Mookie Wilson

Then we'll have a showdown among Maldonado and the winners of this poll and the next one.

I thought it was Pasqual Coco (Pascual is acceptable, I remember seeing both versions of his first name) instead of Pascaul.

Given that I had mis-typed Pascual as Pascaul and had to change it anyway, this change has been made.

IORGY! IORGY! IOGY!

I think it's karmic that the same time we have Iorg in our poll, our top story is about a guy named Dane.

Dane, of course, played a little longer -- but much less frequently -- than Garth and has the only two World Series rings in the family.

The above second graf should read "Dane Iorg (Garth's brother), of course ..."

There's been an Aquilino Lopez sighting in Philly. Lopez's line this year (including with Colorado):

7 IP, 10 K, 0 BB, 0.57 WHIP, 1.28 ERA.

OK, it's only 7 IP, but it's a start. I hope he pitches lights out for them down the strech.
