Buster Olney had this today in his blog:

Felix Hernandez has faced 58 batters in his two starts, and among those, he's generated:

• Twenty-eight groundball outs.

• Eighteen strikeouts.

• One infield pop-out.

• Four walks.

• Three flyball outs.

• Four hits to the outfield.

So that means seven of the 58 batters he's faced this year have hit the ball to the outfield -- and only one has mustered an extra-base hit, for an .075 batting average. He was ridiculously good against the Red Sox, and was King for the day, writes Larry Stone.

That's ridiculous.

I'd be surprised if, by the end of the year, King Felix's stats are not in the same category as Santana and Doc.

Well, I'm not climbing aboard just yet.

I don't know much, but I do know this. Young pitchers will break your heart. Just like the women will. It's what they were put on this earth to do.

You know the way a woman will rip the beating heart right out of your chest, and slam it into the wall a few times, before she hurls it to the ground and then stomps on it with those big high heels?

Young pitchers are like that.

We told you not to date actresses.

I voted for Felix. If I can't have a fling with a 21-year-old...

I'm going with Felix. He has shown awesome stuff and I think it's just a matter of time before he really breaks out. Given, what we are currently seeing won't continue throughout the year any more than A-Rod will hit 160 home runs.

Now if he can just...not get injured!

It's simple, Mags.  You see a woman with those big high heels. You steel yourself.  You keep walking.

Objectively, you can make a case for either of them.  Subjectively, I think that Hernandez had his "year of struggle" last year and he's going to be really, really good for the next 3 or 4.  I won't make any promises that his arm won't fall off after that, and cause half of USS Mariner to walk the plank.

Looks like we'll get a chance to see Matsuzaka versus the Jays Tuesday night.

It will be his first test against a true AL East power lineup.

Most of the solid contact against Dice-K versus the Mariners seemed to come off his fastball.  The offspeed stuff was nasty, plenty of swings and misses.  Should be interesting.

Felix looks like Halladay back when Doc regularly brought mid-high 90's heat.
