Despite two rings in such a short time, these aren't exactly your Yankees -- or even your Cubs.Every single player on the list is still active!
The final cuts from the list were Ivan Rodriguez (too short of a stay), Derrek Lee, A.J. Burnett and Robb Nen, who at least isn't active any more!
Cabrera. Next year you are going to see the 2nd or 3rd (depending on how much Arod gets this year) biggest contract in MLB history handed out to that man.
I agree with that, CLS -- and Cabrera is probably the most talented Marlin ever, but I voted Conine. I think Marlins players, I think Conine, even now in his post-Florida nomadic trek.
Where is Brad Penny? He was for a time the all-time team leader in wins. I think he is second to Dontrelle Willis now.

have made the final list anyway -- maybe in place of Beckett, or more
likely Dempster, but it'd be close.
BTW, I just looked it up, and Penny is actually third on the Marlins' career wins list, behind Willis, as you noted, and also behind (wait for it) ... Toronto's own A.J. Burnett. How about that?
