Looks like we have Kirby Puckett as the greatest Twin. Of course, we didn't consider the Washington Senators. What about the new Washington (and once Montreal) team's greatest player?

Gary Carter 23 (14.47%)
Andre Dawson 21 (13.21%)
Vladimir Guerrero 44 (27.67%)
Dennis Martinez 6 (3.77%)
Tim Raines 41 (25.79%)
Steve Rogers 1 (0.63%)
Rusty Staub 2 (1.26%)
Larry Walker 16 (10.06%)
Tim Wallach 1 (0.63%)
Other (who?) 4 (2.52%)

The list of nine candidates was culled from an initial listing of more than 20; those not making the cut were: Moises Alou, Ron Hunt. Ron Fairly, Bob Bailey, Pedro Martinez, Larry Parrish, Andres Galarraga, Bob Bailey, Orlando Cabrera, Hubie Brooks, Jose Vidro, Marquis Grissom, Otis Nixon, Tim Burke, Jeff Reardon and Ugueth Urbina.

Good list!

Wow.... what a tough choice and a damn good list... I flipped a coin and took Carter mostly because of his nickname and playing one of the toughest defensive positions but I had thoughts about Raines, Dawson, Guerrero, Rogers, Wallach and even good old Rusty.

The other Martinez: Pedro, but that's more because he's one of my favourites.

Other than him though, Larry Walker is a good choice. Great Canadian player to remember a Canadian team by.

I could not bring myself to vote. There are 6, I would vote for and no one rose to the top. What a nucleus for a ball club.

I had to go with Gary Carter, he was the face of the franchise back in the 1980's. It was more an instictive choice rather than a 2 hour stats comparison.

Tim Raines, by a nose over Carter and Vlad.  I am biased though.

I am biased though.

I'm not. And I went with Raines. I think he's clearly the guy, though he did spend 11 of his 23 years with CHW and NYY.

Carter over Raines, but it was a very tough call.
