I vote for Jim Leyland in Detroit.....He seems to have lost his fire and really hasn't managed that well this season.

Wedge hasn't managed that poorly, their team has just been decimated by injuries and then trading players. Leyland on the other hand has seemed out of it all year.

Wedge hasn't managed poorly, but that's rarely part of the calculus. The Indians have been decimated by injuries, and are under-performing their exp. W/L by seven games...but when management (and the fans) look at the standings, the only thing likely to register is the fact that the Indians are looking up at the Royals after entering the year with expectations of a playoff berth.

Leyland isn't safe, either; I would be surprised if either was at the helm by the time November rolls around. And while I'm comfortable with Cito returning next year, Wedge would be on my short-list of replacement candidates if the Jays were looking for a long-term (possibly a whole three to four years!) option.
