So, Milton Bradley is at it again?

He's crazy as a loon and I'd never want him on MY team. 56 (31.28%)
He's terribly misunderstood and deserves a break. 30 (16.76%)
He's hitting .333/14/45, so it doesn't matter! 93 (51.96%)

I voted for number 3 though any of the 3 could apply depending on the day.

“That would be a pretty good role model for Milton Bradley, who clearly has no control over himself because it’s the same thing year after year,” Lefebvre said. “This game and this country, really if you follow baseball, has really embraced Josh Hamilton. And I think they’ve wanted to do the same with Milton Bradley, but Milton Bradley has refused to allow himself to be put in that position.”

In this situation, Bradley was not the one who was out of line.

I agree, the announcer was out of line there. I think he owes Milton an apology. That said, it does seem he hasn't changed much. What a shame, he's a damn good hitter.

My vote was #3 but I am biased because right now I'm wondering what I wouldn't put up with to have .333/14/45 in the middle of the Jays lineup. :)

I voted #1.  How can a professional ballplayer be as thin-skinned and oversensitive as a teenage girl with self-esteem issues?  I used to root for this guy to grow up and become a great story about getting past one's personal demons but now I just wish he'd go away.  Nothing the announcer said was anything but the truth.  I think Bradley just can't stand the fact that despite his career-best numbers so far this year he is still overshadowed by someone who really is a genuinel feel-good story; someone who really has triumphed over personal demons to become a star player.

And you gleaned this how?

Seeing as how your log-in name apparently alludes to the manager of the White Sox, it makes perfect sense that you would justify and defend the behavior of a sociopath.

I'm a close personal friend of both players.

Seriously though, it's just my opinion, which is why I prefaced it with "I think".  If I was a douche like Bradley, that's how *I* would feel in a similar situation.  That's how I gleaned it.  Any other snide questions?
