For me it's definately the O's.  I fully expected 100 losses out of them this year so to start the way they did is a real surprise.  Tigers are a surprise but I wasn't nearly as bullish on them as most people (they had a lot of things go their way last year).  Cards really don't surprise, the NL Central is so weak that I'd be surprised if anyone ended up with less than 70 wins.

Aren't the Tigers supposed to be about 20-0 at this point? Didn't someone in the Toronto media have them pegged as a "for sure" 110-win team?

Things are sad in Motown. Brandon Inge has half the team's homeruns and a third of their RBIs. Ex-Jay Aquilino Lopez has pitched 7.1 innings of shutout relief. These are not supposed to be the team's top performers.

To his credit, Jim Leyland hasn't tried to bunt his way out of the team's slump.

The Tigers aren't making the rest of the year easier for them, but if there is one team in the AL, who could get out of this rut in no time, it is them.

Sheffield, Rodriguez, Ordonez, Polanco, Renteria, and Cabrera aren't all going to OPS under .700 the rest of the year. This team might not be the team everyone thought they would be, but of all the teams listed, will be the only one with a shot at October baseball four months from now.

I responded "Orioles", but would like to give the KC Royals an honourable mention.
