Almost a third of you don't think Tom Glavine is going to the HOF. Greg Maddux will; that's not a question. But what about a guy with a 24-win season AND a 55-save season, John Smoltz?

Abolutely, yes. Duh! 17 (23.29%)
Sure, but not on the first ballot. 26 (35.62%)
Only if Maddux slides him through the old-timers vote. 7 (9.59%)
He deserves consideration, but the door stays shut. 18 (24.66%)
No, no, no! 5 (6.85%)

My first thought was 'eventually, not a first ballot but a guy who gets in after 5-10 years'. Checking his stats that the media will use...

175 wins - 127 losses - 154 saves - 14 blown (wow)

1 20 win season, 1 50 save season

To me he needs to crack 200 wins, which should be a lock given how he has pitched this season (2.90 ERA 177 IP so far). If he does that then he'll have enough positives to satisfy most HOF voters. 225 wins would pretty much make him a lock with his excellent years of relief.
