The top three teams all lost on Tuesday and Lansing were behind 3-2 headed to the ninth inning. The Lugnuts loaded the bases for Danny Jansen who cleared them. Jesus Tinoco did not get the win but he held Bowling Green hitless for five innings. Daniel Norris was decent but not great, he took the loss for Buffalo and had just one three up, three down inning. New Hampshire played a slugfest, scored ten runs, and lost. The Jays lost a one run game, the Dunedin Jays that is.

Indianapolis 2 Buffalo 1

Daniel Norris worked into the seventh inning and threw 61 strikes out of 94 pitches. He did leave some of those strikes in the middle of the plate and put on 11 base runners through seven hits and four walks. He only had one 1-2-3 inning. So a decent start for Norris but not a knockout. He did just give up two runs.

The Bisons scored in the third, the Muni-nator doubled and scored on a sac fly from Dioner Navarro. Buffalo had just five hits, Luke Scott had two.

Reading 12 New Hampshire 10

35 hits between the two teams. Reading scored in six innings, New Hampshire in four. John Anderson was bombed for eleven hits and seven runs in three innings. Dustin Antolin added four runs and six hits.

Ian Parmley hit a three run home run. Shane Opitz had two doubles, two runs scored and two RBI's. Dwight Smith had three hits and two runs scored. Jorge Flores and Kevin Nolan also had two hits.

Dunedin 2 Jupiter 3

Both teams had seven hits. Murphy Smith took the loss even though he only gave up one earned run, and two unearned. Alberto Tirado pitched the last two inning, no hits allowed, he did concede two walks.

Seven Jays had one hit each. Derrick Loveless and Dickie Thon combined for the first run. Roemen Fields with a double and Dawel Lugo with a single generated the second.

Lansing 6 Bowling Green 3

The Lugnuts trailed 3-2 headed to their last chance in the ninth. Rowdy Tellez led off with an infield single, Ryan McBroom followed with a walk and DJ Davis a single to load the bases. Danny Jansen delivered a bases clearing double to turn the tables on Bowling Green. Josh Almonte also doubled to make it 6-3. Almonte also doubled in the third inning. He scored on an Anthony Alford single. In the sixth Tellez drove in Tim Locastro. In addition to Almonte and Tellez, DJ Davis and Locastro had two hits each.

Jesus Tinoco had an excellent start. He was victimized by his defense in the first inning, an error and a couple of hits led to two runs. From the second through the sixth innings Tinoco kept Bowling Green hitless. Tinoco did walk four hitters but was in control. He left in the seventh after a lead off double. Mark Biggs pitched the last three and picked up the win.
