Austin Voth allowed two runs in five innings on three hits and four walks and struck out three. Adam Macko got the hold with 2⅓ innings of shutout ball, allowing one hit and one walk with one whiff while stranding a runner.
Jay Harry belted a two-run homer and Patrick "Bull" Winkel rocked a three-run dinger. Harry did not start the game as he filled in for Jace Bohrofen in right field and went on to enjoy a three-hit night with three runs batted in. Harry is hitting .338 with an OPS of .894. Arjun Nimmala had a double among his three hits and stole a base. Cutter Coffey joined Winkel in the two-hit club with a double and a single. Winning pitcher Chris McElvain made it through five innings and was charged with three runs on four hits (two of them homers) while walking two and striking out three. Conor Larkin stranded two runners and finished up the game with 1⅓ innings of one-hit ball with two punchouts. His ERA is down to 1.20.
Jacob Sharp homered for the C's first run and walked it off with a 10th-inning single. In the top of the 10th, he threw out the placed runner trying to steal third base. Kendry Chirinos had a broken-bat RBI double and a walk and Peyton Williams' bloop double to center brought home two. Maddox Latta had a double and a single. Danny Thompson Jr. struck out five but walked four and allowed four runs in 3⅓ innings. Carson Pierce issued five free passes, leading to two inherited runs to score, over 2⅓ scoreless innings. Pierce's line was saved by Kelena Sauer who stranded the bases loaded with a strikeout. He struck out two over 1⅓ shutout innings of one-hit ball. Jay Schueler served up a game-tying bomb in the ninth but Trace Baker struck out two batters in a scoreless 10th inning for the win.
JoJo Parker went deep for Dunedin's lone run, his third round-tripper of the year. Eric Snow had three hits and three stolen bases and Juan Sánchez walked and stole a base. Brayden Heidel was nicked for one run on one hit and one hit by pitch over three innings while striking out four. Jack Nedrow, a 23-year-old free agent signing out of South Florida, made his pro debut and it was a good one with four shutout frames, scattering two hits and a walk with six strikeouts. Lluveres Severino took the loss by surrendering a run over 1⅔ innings.
