The last stand is here. It was going to be bye bye Springer. Probably bye bye Scherzer and Bieber. I hope that will be the main story of the weekend, but it will probably be Vlad.
The Reds have had a disappointing season but they are only three games worse than the Jays. Both teams have nothing to play for and neither team can get to .500.

On Sunday we will see what Max does. Does he try to catch Verlander or does it matter if he wants to pitch next season?
Will Bateman be back? Will Keys and McAdoo play each game? Will Springer be taken out mid game on Sunday? There are not a lot of wins and losses to look for in this series so we have to look at these other things.
The Jays have activated Josh Klein and optioned CJ Van Eyk. Can Eyk was probably unavailable this weekend anyway. If you want to stay calm, do not look at Klein's numbers in Buffalo.
One thing to look out for, Elly De La Cruz has 30 home runs and 29 steals. Can the Jays catching duo prevent him from a 30/30 season.
