In a continuing effort to assemble the perfect All-City baseball team (after Bauxites were challenged to try all-state, all-province or all-country ... the showoff!), longtime Batter's Box contributor Craig Burley realized his recent Mobile Homeboys, even with five Hall of Famers, might struggle in the Mean Streets of Flatbush.

You could put together a heck of a team from Brooklyn, even though there's only one all-time great [presumably Koufax, though there are four Hall of Famers on the roster -- ed.] on the team. The team is weakish in the OF, but very strong in the infield and in starting pitchers. Halama must stay on the team only because he has the greatest BB-Ref sponsor message of all time ...

So, then, Bauxites ... can you brook this team any better? Or do we need to fall back on a Brook-Lyn combination, even though catcher Fordyce is from Connecticut and infielder Lary is from California?
