Two wins and two losses... Not bad for the affiliates given the poor seasons they all seem to be having.

Starter Brian Burres was wild and he walked five batters in five innings of work. He also allowed six hits, which led to three runs. Brian Wolfe worked two scoreless innings and struck out two batters. Jonah Bayliss allowed four runs in 0.1 innings, while Bill Murphy allowed four in 0.2 innings. Offensively, Russ Adams and Randy Ruiz had three hits each. Adams scored three runs, while Ruiz drove in three (two with a homer). Buck Coats had two hits, as did Aaron Mathews and Angel Sanchez. Both players hit home runs - the first of the year for both of them. J.P. Arencibia was 1-for-5.
New Hampshire 5 Erie 0
Each team had just six hits, but the Fisher Cats players made the most of their opportunities. Todd Donovan had two hits, including a two-run homer, and drove in three in total. Adam Calderone, Brian Dopirak, Nick Gorneault, and Luis Sanchez had the other hits. David Cooper and Brad Emaus continued to enjoy an extended cold streak. Starter Marc Rzepczynski allowed five hits and three walks in seven innings of work. He struck out eight batters. Dan Farquhar worked two shutout innings and allowed just one hit with two Ks.
Dunedin 7 Charlotte 4
Dunedin took the win despite dealing with patch-work pitching. Reliever Dumas Garcia started the game and allowed two runs in three innings. Tim Collins than continued his mid-season swoon by allowing two runs in 2.2 innings, with two hits allowed, one walk and three Ks. Leon Boyd worked 2.1 scoreless innings and Zach Dials finished off the game with one inning of one-hit ball. Darin Mastroianni and Scott Campbell (rehabbing) both had three hits. Moises Sierra and Eric Thames each had one hit a piece. Thames' hit was a double. Jesus Gonzalez was 1-for-4 with two runs scored and a solo homer.
Great Lakes 4 Lansing 1
Josh Wells had another rough start and allowed four runs on seven hits through six innings. Hunter Moody and Frank Gailey finished off the game without allowing a run in three combined innings. Chris Emanuele was 2-for-4 with two doubles. Johermyn Chavez also had two hits. Justin McClanahan and Michael McDade had the other hits for Lansing.
