Been wondering how the Jays' AFL players have been doing?
The Jays share the Peoria Javelinas (I'm just gonna assume that means javelins in Spanish) with Cleveland, Houston, Seattle and Boston. They started playing last Tuesday, October 12. Here's a brief rundown of Jay-related results:
Tuesday, October 12 - Surprise 8 Peoria 6

And there were no games yesterday.
Of the club's AFL players, only Adeiny Hechavarria hasn't gotten any game action yet. Apparently he's being blocked by his Cuban compatriot Jose Iglesias. I'm not really sure how the AFL works - maybe they want to give Iglesias a regular schedule for a week or 2, then switch and give the starting spot to Hech.
Anyway, it's way too small a sample size to say anything meaningful about anyone, but I just thought you guys might like to know.
