It was a quiet night on the farm as the affiliates went 2-2. Breyvic Valera and Luis De Los Santos each drove in three runs to help the Bisons and Canadians win.

Rochester 1 Buffalo 3

Somerset 6 New Hampshire 1

Spokane 2 Vancouver 3

Bradenton 4 Dunedin 1

This is what I noted from yesterday's games.

TJ Zeuch started and had a Zeuchian start. Six innings, three hits, three K's, two walks.

Breyvic Valera drove in all three Bison's runs. The first came when he doubled in the third inning. In the seventh inning he came to the plate with runners on second and third. His single drove in both runners. Valera is hitting .333. Forrest Wall was 3-4 and scored two runs. He is hitting .350.

Tayler Saucedo pitched two shutout innings to keep his ERA at zero.

Kyle Johnston had a better second start, five shutout innings. He did have eight base runners and had to get out of trouble a few times. He also had just two strikeouts. Jon Harris gave up a solo home run and took the loss.

Otto Lopez had two hits and drove in the only run. Austin Martin was 1-4, the same as Jordan Groshans. Groshans made an error and now has five this season. Gabriel Moreno did not play. He was hit by a pitch in Wednesdays game but hasn't been placed on the IL.

Luis De Los Santos came to the plate in the sixth inning with the C's trailing 1-0 and with two men on. He homered to give the C's a 3-1 lead. That was his only hit and the C's only extra base hit.

CJ Van Eyk started. He pitched 4.2 innings, allowed one run and recorded seven K's. It was a much better second start for the second round pick last year. Brandon Eisert threw 2.1 perfect innings after his promotion from Dunedin. Justin Maese got the save with two innings of relief.

Will Robertson is on the IL. Per #2JB, he was injured diving for a ball. He may have hurt his wrist.

Jol Concepcion started and allowed two runs. He did walk five in four innings.

The Jays only run came from a Zach Britton home run, his second. Britton is hitting .333 with an OPS of 1.217. The Jays had just five hits.
