There were just two games on Sunday with two rainouts. Even the Dunedin game had to survive a rain delay. The Tampa domination of Dunedin continued, the Jays were held to two hits. So it was left to Vancouver to save the day. A pair of two run home runs and an excellent start by Adam Kloffenstein got the win.

Buffalo at Rochester - postponed

New Hampshire at Binghamton - postponed

Spokane 3 Vancouver 4

Tampa 6 Dunedin 1

This is what I noted from yesterday's games.

A pair of two run home runs were enough for Vancouver. The hot Luis De Los Santos hit one of them. He was 2-4 and scored two runs to go woth his two RBI. Sebastian Espino hit the other one. He too was 2-4.

Adam Kloffenstein pitched very well. He just needed 78 pitches to get through six innings. He allowed two runs on four hits with four K's.

Tampa steamrolled the Jays once again. The Jays had only two hits, both were doubles by backup catcher Anthony Morales. Miguel Hiraldo and Orelvis Martinez both struck out three times.

Jol Concepcion started and had trouble with the strike zone. He gave up five runs in 4.2 innings.

Three Stars

Third Star - Adam Kloffenstein

Second Star - Sebastian Espino

First Star - Luis De Los Santos
