Their four-game "slump" behind them, the Jays begin a four-game set with Baltimore tonight in Baltimore. Doug Davis goes for Toronto, and his opponent is Jason Johnson. Reed Johnson gets a day off, Josh Phelps is at DH, Tom Wilson is behind the plate. All zeros after one, but obviously it's unlikely it will stay that way. Enjoy the game.

Hey Orlando, you improve your chances of scoring if you make an effort to touch the plate instead of running the catcher over. It looks like you would have been safe if you just slid normally instead of pretending to be Pete Rose to Fordyce's Ray Fosse.

JMG, are you referring to this d-squared? If so, bravo.

Whats the manager doing? Two pinch hitters in a row? Go on.

And it worked!

My heart be still.

I'll contribute this, partly just to establish which thread is running tonite. Shane commented on the other titled thread about where everybody is tonite. Probably everyones just a little indecisive which thread to run on. Tosca's rubbing off on us.

Anyway, perhaps the closer situation is becoming clearer with out any announcement from the manager. Service in the fifth inning and Aq in the eigth. Acevedo it seems has been activated.

Think I'll do the same.

Free Doug Davis!

...as in "Free to a good home."

These 4 IP, 9 H starts have to stop. This is a bad joke. I'd rather see Doug Linton out there getting pasted; at least that way we could reminisce about '92.
